This pair of orange eyeball wall lamps by Delmas reflects the playful futuristic language that shaped much of French lighting design during the 1970s. Built around compact spherical diffusers suspended within a chromed metal structure, the lamps combine functional directional lighting with a distinctly sculptural presence.
The vivid orange lacquered finish immediately recalls the optimistic domestic interiors of the Space Age era, while the polished chrome supports add contrast and visual precision. Thanks to their adjustable orientation, these eyeball wall lamps work particularly well beside a bed, in a reading corner, near a desk or inside smaller interiors where lighting becomes part of the architecture of the space. Compact yet visually strong, the lamps create atmosphere without overwhelming the room.
This pair remains fully functional and preserves its original B22 sockets. The surfaces show minor traces of age, including light wear to the orange lacquer and subtle oxidation on some chromed details, consistent with normal vintage use and largely unobtrusive in everyday display.
These Space Age wall lamps pair naturally with other chrome and plastic lighting pieces from the Natavintage collection, including futuristic mirrors, modular storage and sculptural seating from the 1970s.
