Iconic space age “Dedalo” umbrella holder designed by Emma Gismondi Schweinberger for Artemide Milano in the mid Sixties.
It was made of the best heavy duty plastic material of its age. The bottom of the stand is detachable so that it can be cleaned. The maker’s mark is visible on the bottom (see photos).
Excellent vintage conditions, the off white colour is still strong, with minimal traces of time.
Probably the most distinctive umbrella stand ever made!
