These Space Age Eyeball Lamps by Delmas, made in France in the 1970s, capture the optimism of the Space Age era. Their glossy red shells and chrome rings create a bold, futuristic contrast that feels both sculptural and playful.
Each lamp features a swivelling globe and a pull-cord switch, designed for intuitive use. The light can be directed easily, making them ideal beside a bed, on a desk, or mounted on the wall. Originally conceived as wall lamps, they can also stand on a flat surface thanks to the small cable openings in the base.
Both lamps include B22 bulb sockets and remain in excellent vintage condition with light traces of ageing. Moreover the original Delmas labels are still attached, confirming their authenticity.
These Space Age Eyeball Lamps combine French craftsmanship and 1970s futuristic design — bringing a warm red glow and a touch of retro imagination to any interior.
