Introducing an exceptionally rare pair of square modular Kartell Componibili, designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell in 1967. While the cylindrical models are widely recognized, this square-base edition is far less common—and in this striking red finish, the set is truly exceptional.
Each piece consists of one closed module with a door (4975/6), one smaller open module (4970), a matching top, and four wheels—offering both storage and display functionality. Thanks to the presence of the two tops, the modules can be arranged freely, allowing for independent compositions. The wheel attachments are different: two modules have snap-in fittings, while two modules have screw-in fittings.
With subtly rounded edges, these modular elements embody the principles of Space Age design, balancing innovation, aesthetics, and practicality.
Their unique matching design makes them perfect as a pair of side tables, adding a bold, sculptural presence to any space. Whether placed together or separately, they create a cohesive yet striking look, seamlessly integrating into mid-century modern or contemporary interiors.
