Designed in the 1970s by Makio Hasuike for Gedy, this green wall mirror combines minimalist Italian design with advanced functionality. Featuring an extendable arm, magnifying mirror and integrated light, it is both practical and sculptural.
This Makio Hasuike wall mirror, designed in the 1970s for Gedy, is a refined example of Italian minimalist design applied to everyday functionality. Finished in a glossy green tone, it features a magnifying mirror with integrated E14 bulb, built-in switch and Schuko socket, providing soft and focused illumination.
The mirror is mounted on an extendable arm reaching a maximum depth of 32 cm, while the tilting surface allows precise adjustment. When closed, its compact profile measures 20 × 20 × 7.5 cm, making it ideal for bathrooms, dressing areas or curated interiors where space and design must coexist.
This Makio Hasuike wall mirror clearly reflects the designer’s ability to transform utilitarian objects into timeless pieces through clean geometry and intelligent engineering. The model was produced by Gedy in different color variations; a black version of the same Makio Hasuike wall mirror has previously been sold and can be seen here:

The mirror is in excellent vintage condition, with only light signs of age on the mirror surface and green structure. It comes with its original box, which shows significant wear consistent with age. A power cable with plug is included; the mirror can also be wall-mounted and directly connected to the electrical system if preferred.
