A refined pair of Makio Hasuike cups designed in the 1970s for Arnolfo di Cambio. Produced by Ceramiche Revelli in Laveno, these powder pink ceramic pieces balance sculptural form, tactile quality and everyday ritual use.
This refined pair of Makio Hasuike cups was designed in the 1970s for the Arnolfo di Cambio collection and produced by Ceramiche Revelli in Laveno, Italy. Compact yet sculptural, the cups reflect Hasuike’s design philosophy, where geometry, ergonomics and visual clarity are combined into objects meant for everyday life.
The softly squared shape, integrated handle and matching saucers define these Makio Hasuike cups as both functional and expressive. Finished in an elegant powder pink ceramic, they embody the experimental yet timeless character of Italian design from the 1970s, making them suitable for contemporary interiors as well as curated vintage collections.
Each cup measures 9 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height, while the square saucers measure 14 cm by 1.5 cm. The proportions are intimate and precise, conceived for espresso or short coffee rituals.
These Makio Hasuike cups were originally part of a larger ceramic coffee service. A complete version of the set can be viewed here:
