A bold modular classic in vibrant red, bringing sculptural energy and practical flexibility to interiors with unmistakable Italian character.
Professionally packed and fully insured worldwide
This Kartell Componibili red set designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri in the 1960s is one of the clearest expressions of Italian modular design. Conceived during a period of radical experimentation in plastics and domestic living, the Componibili system translated industrial innovation into a new idea of furniture: flexible, compact, durable and visually bold.
This set includes four square modules, two tops and two sets of wheels. Its strength lies in its adaptability. The elements can be arranged as two separate units, used side by side, or stacked into a taller composition depending on the needs of the space. Functional without ever appearing ordinary, the system reflects Kartell’s pioneering approach to everyday design.
The red finish gives the composition a stronger visual impact than more neutral versions, turning a practical storage solution into a sculptural accent. Rounded edges, recessed openings and the glossy plastic surface create that unmistakable Space Age rhythm for which the Componibili became iconic. This Kartell Componibili red set works beautifully in a bedroom, studio, dressing area or living space, adding color, mobility and a distinctly architectural presence.
Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s work for Kartell helped define a new language of modern interiors, where furniture could be industrially produced yet intelligent, elegant and highly usable. Pieces like this remain relevant because they solve practical needs while still carrying a strong visual identity.
