This bold and playful Space Age lamp was designed and produced by Belgian brand Massive in the 1970s. Nicknamed “Bug Eye” for its striking silhouette, the lamp features a high-gloss red plastic spherical body punctuated by four large oval opaline diffusers, arranged to resemble oversized insect eyes. The effect is both graphic and sculptural — a perfect statement piece for interiors that embrace color, form, and retro flair.

With a strong visual identity, this vintage pendant lamp stands out in both pop-modern and contemporary settings. Whether suspended in a dining area, above a reading nook, or as a central piece in a retro lounge, it casts a soft, diffused glow while delivering maximum style impact.

A rare find on today’s market, this space age lamp is a certified example of authentic European Seventies avant-garde design and is signed by Massive.
