Longobarda is an innovative lamp made of a single ceramic body, designed by Marcello Cuneo in 1966. Longobarda achieved several awards,  among which the “Premio Palladio” for the application of ceramic to industrial design. This lamp was also exposed at the MOMA in NYC during the “Italy: new domestic landscape” exhibition. 

This piece is the small version of Longobarda – conceived as bedside or side table lamp. Produced by the renowned company Gabbianelli in the sixties, Longobarda is a great testament of italian design and ingenious industrial application. Moreover, it provides a beautiful lighting affect.
