As the world’s first injection-molded polypropylene chair, the Model 4875, conceived in 1970, became a global sensation upon Kartell’s production launch in 1974.

Carlo Bartoli’s innovative creation, the 4875 chair, received a Golden Compass nomination in 1979, solidifying its place in design history.

These chairs are not only a symbol of pioneering design but are also part of the permanent exhibitions at prestigious institutions such as the National Museum of Arts – Center Pompidou in Paris and the Kartell Museum.
