A refined pair of Makio Hasuike cups designed in the 1970s for Arnolfo di Cambio. Produced by Ceramiche Revelli in Laveno, these elegant ivory ceramic pieces balance sculptural form, tactile quality and everyday ritual use.
This refined pair of ceramic cups was designed by Makio Hasuike in the 1970s for the Arnolfo di Cambio collection and produced by Ceramiche Revelli in Laveno, Italy. Compact yet sculptural, these cups clearly reflect Hasuike’s design philosophy, where geometric clarity, ergonomic balance, and everyday functionality converge.
Characterized by a softly squared profile with an integrated handle, the Makio Hasuike ceramic cups are paired with matching square saucers that reinforce the architectural quality of the design. Finished in an elegant ivory ceramic glaze, this version offers a warmer and more understated alternative to brighter colorways, making it particularly versatile in both modern and curated vintage interiors.
Each cup measures 7.5 × 7.5 cm with a height of 6.5 cm, while the saucers measure 12.5 cm in diameter and 1.5 cm in height. The proportions are carefully calibrated for espresso or short coffee service, emphasizing precision and tactile comfort.
Originally conceived as part of a larger ceramic coffee service, this pair of Makio Hasuike ceramic cups is presented today as a standalone collectible object, suitable for daily use or display within a design-focused collection.
