This rare Snoopy table lamp was produced in Italy during the 1980s by NLiZ – Nuova Linea Zero and represents one of the most elusive variations of vintage character lighting. Depicting Snoopy dressed as a Sherlock Holmes style detective, the lamp combines playful storytelling with strong decorative presence.
Designed as a sculptural bedside lamp, Snoopy stands beside a tall streetlamp topped with a spherical diffuser, creating a vertical silhouette that feels both whimsical and architectural. Unlike many character lamps of the period, this piece features real fabric elements for Snoopy’s coat and hat, adding warmth, texture, and a distinctive handcrafted feel. The contrast between molded plastic and soft textile details elevates the lamp beyond simple novelty, placing it firmly within collectible Italian design.
