The Artemide Nesso lamp stands as one of the great icons of Italian Space Age design. Designed in 1967 by the Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova and produced by Artemide, it won the Studio Artemide–Domus competition and entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. This authentic 1960s example is crafted in off white resin, with its signature mushroom-like silhouette that diffuses a warm, ambient light. Produced through innovative injection-moulding techniques, it embodies the radical creativity of late 1960s Italy, when new materials transformed the domestic landscape. A rare opportunity to own a genuine piece of Italian design history, the Nesso remains a timeless symbol of Space Age innovation.
