Sculptural 1970s Brutalist table lamp made in Italy from reconstituted stone and brass. Its geometric form and warm, diffused glow reveal the artisanal precision of mid-century craftsmanship — a rare, weighty piece with poetic material presence.
This 1970s Italian Brutalist table lamp captures the raw beauty of handcrafted design. Made from reconstituted stone and brass, it feels both sculptural and solid. The curved stone body holds the bulb at its center, creating a soft, diffused light that highlights every surface detail.
Two brass spheres frame the form, adding a warm golden tone that contrasts with the rough stone texture. The natural oxidations and small marks on the metal show its authentic age and give the piece real character.
Compact yet striking, the lamp measures 15 × 15 × 14 cm and weighs about 2 kg. It features an E14 socket and an original Fratelli Castiglioni inline switch, with the plug recently replaced for safe use.
This piece is more than lighting — it’s a small work of architecture. Its weight, materials, and handmade finish make it a rare example of Italian Brutalist design, ideal for collectors and interiors that value expressive, timeless craftsmanship.
