ABOUT THIS PIECE

Designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1966, model 600C is an authentic and distinctive vintage 70s lamp – and a timeless design masterpiece.

The idea was inspired by the bean bag ashtrays. The leather base evoking a tennis ball supports a minimalistic metal body. Thanks to the lead balls in the leatherette base, the lamp can be placed in any direction.

This legendary model was produced in different versions from the late 60s to the 80s. The 600C was designed for a Cornalux 100 watt hammerhead light bulb.

The original label – designed by Flos – and the VLM wiring designed by Achille Castiglioni are present. Light bulb by Mazda included. Works with a standard EU plug – outside EU it needs a simple adapter.

An iconic and rare piece of design that will take a special place in any interior design.
