Unusual and unfindable ceramic lamp made in Italy by SC3 in the 70s.

This lamp is made of two ceramic pieces. The hourglass-shaped body contains the wiring and the bakelite socket. A smaller ceramic half globe allows the regulation of the lighting in a simple and ingenious way.

This lamp was produced by SC3, an Italian ceramics company that produced the lamps for Philips and also sold them under their name in a later stadium. The quality of making is outstanding, similarly to other great Italian manufacturers like Gabbianelli and Sicart, with a design that evokes the creations of Marcello Cuneo and Pino Spagnolo.
