Spectacular and unique ‘Pulegoso’ table lamp made of 18 amber and white square crystal hand blown bubble glass (pulegoso) blocks.

Pulegoso is an italian word from the dialect word ‘pulega’, which means bubble. The glass contains numerous bubbles of all sizes, produced by adding bicarbonate/soda, gasoline, or other substances to the glass. The bubbles make the glass semi-opaque and give the surface an irregular texture.

This unique lamp was designed by Albano Poli who founded Poliarte in 1968 in Verona. The Poliarte company no longer exists. Today the company of Albano Poli still creates stained glass windows, under the name Progetto Arte Poli Srl. (Art Project Poli).

This amazing lamp is healthy, cleaned and perfectly working. Metal E14 sockets, it works with 1 x 40 watt bulb E14, 110/220 volt, preferably a silver bowl/cup light bulb. European plug (works in US with simple plug adapter).
