Beautiful pair of space age coat hangers with fume mirrors designed by Goffredo Reggiani and produced in Italy in the 70s.
These distinctive space age pieces inspired by Bauhaus design features a curved chromed metal hanger, perfecly integrated with the fume glass and the thick bakelite base, typical of the period.
Goffredo Reggiani (1929 – 2004) founded his company in Monza, Italy in 1957 and is best known for his lighting so this coat hook with mirror is a rare piece, he is known to have designed most things himself; his lamps are now highly collectable and command considerable prices.
The coat hook is a rare interior design piece, in great vintage conditions, healthy and cleaned. The price is for the pair.
