Iconic pendant lamp designed by Studio 6G in 1968 and produced by Harvey Guzzini in the late 60s / early 70s.
The half-sphere lampshade is made of pearl white methacrylate. It has a big half round diffuser, a chrome lamp socket holder and chromed metal (iron) ring.
Bud is an authentic icon of the space age, with its UFO shape and the use of innovative plastic materials. This model is the 2223/2, produced by the Italian maker from 1968 to 1972 – the large, rarest version, that is perfect also for big rooms and studios.
Like similar creations from the legendary Italian lighting company Guzzini – for instance the Baobab pendant – Bud is an icon of the space age. With its UFO shape and the use of innovative plastic materials, it has an amazing visual effect!

condition. excellent vintage conditions. healthy and perfectly working, all the parts – including the bolts – are original. only the bulb holder has been replaced. light traces of oxidation on the metal parts (see pictures). we recommend to change the wiring.
