Iconic pendant lamp designed by Studio 6G in 1968 and produced by Harvey Guzzini in the late 60s / early 70s.
The half-sphere lampshade is made of methacrylate. It has a big half round diffuser, a chrome lamp socket holder and chromed metal (iron) ring.
This is probably the most iconic and distinctive version of the legendary lamp of the Italian maker. The half-sphere methacrylate lampshade has balanced proportions. The gradient brown color perfectly blends with the chromed metal ring, and provides a beautiful, warm lighting effect.
Like similar creations from the legendary Italian lighting company Guzzini – for instance the Baobab pendant – Bud is an icon of the space age. With its UFO shape and the use of innovative plastic materials, it has an amazing visual effect!
