Beautiful space age picnic set ”Pic Boll” designed by Carlo Viglino in 1968 and produced by Guzzini, Italy in the 70s.
This lovely 6 person picnic features a plastic sphere or ball shaped carrier that holds everything required for a picnic: 2 containers, 1 tray, 6 flat plates, 6 deep plates, 6 dessert plates, 6 glasses, a container for salt and pepper, a container for oil and vinegar.
Also the Sphere itself can easily be used as a salad bowl for instance. Guzzini brand marked on both hemispheres. This set is in mint conditions, never used and the signs of age related wear are limited to superficial scuffs due to the contact of different pieces.
Beautiful glossy red color. A lovely authentic vintage set that takes back to an era of unsurpassed creativity!
